As the third president of the Catholic Psychotherapy Association (CPA), it is with great honor and excitement that I welcome you to our website. The CPA is a vibrant and growing association with a unique two-fold mission of 1) providing a place for members to develop a better understanding of what it means as a Catholic to have a professional vocation as a mental health professional and 2) how we can provide mental health services in a manner consistent with a Catholic understanding of the person, marriage and family life.

In our Annual Meeting in March of 2011, as President I had outlined the strategic plan and actions that the Board, committees, and the membership would be taking to adjust to the rapid growth that the CPA is experiencing and to lay the foundation for future growth while enhancing its value for its membership. |
